Fatz Cafe - Dublin

We were stranded in Dublin from our vehicle breaking down and headed over to Fatz for lunch. Slightly more $$ than average but big portions and everything was delicious. Anika(hope I spelled her name correctly) was exceptional! She was very helpful and patient with us as we did linger a bit to pass time. She went out of her way for a few things as well as trying to find me a mechanic on a Sunday. We didn't find one but the fact that she went above and beyond makes her FABULOUS!! We appreciate you Anika!!!

First time eating at this restaurant, when David and I got there we had a wait although not many people inside but the food was pretty good. Our waitress was very nice and did a great job!

Prior to ordering they were out of a lot so settled for what we did not come in for. Husband waiting on baked potato finally came out was hard. I shared some of my food which pot roast veggies was crunchy. FYI ask before ordering they may be out. Carpet needs cleaning and a good wash smells like old food inside. Friendly staff doing the best they can. I am sure they are short-handed.

Found this place by a road sign. Saw the name and was hoping for a small burger joint. Noticed it looked like a regular chain but decided to go anyways. The menu looked good. And it was great. The rolls served at the beginning of your meal were almost like donuts with sweet butter. The app was great and so were the burgers. Great stop along out road trip

Good food and great atmosphere inside. My meal was cooked perfect. Chicken was juicy. Love their bread with butter. Beautiful place and atmosphere was . Waitress was little too slow.

I stopped while traveling thru on a Sunday evg. It wasn't crowded, tho my very nice waitress, Mary sd she'd been quite busy as they were short some staff that had gone away for the Memorial Holiday. It was comfortable and quiet. I was afraid she'd think I was being too picky when I mentioned a cpl issues with food. But she didn't feel that way and was very accommodating and so nice. The only problem with service was while I was wtg on my meal, (I'd drank a little of my ice tea and ate 2 rolls, then I had to go to the RR to take care on my dentures), well I came out to see a guy was cleaning off my table. He apologized, sd he thought I'd left. But I was only gone a few minutes. So I had to go ask for another glass of tea, utensils and napkins. It wasn't a big deal, but hopefully he'll learn to leave things be a little longer. Over all, I would go back when I'm in the area again. Food was good, except the Broccoli casserole didn't look or taste very appetizing.

Excellent southern Home style cooking at a reasonable price . Super service. Friendly staff. Clean restaurant. 11/30/2019 - Dined here again. Sadly our meals were not so great this time. The only thing that I enjoyed was the fried green tomatoes. The peach cobbler was not only burned it was cold and only had 3 slices of peach in it. We had to keep looking for our server. We had to pretty much ask for everything. I won't change my star rating due to this terrible service and dining experience; however, we won't be back anytime soon.
